for a while - that younger persons are extremely reliant on their phones.
Our qualitative research, which relied on monitoring information and interviews wit a group of 20 individuals,
recognized 4 key moments off reports consumption for younger folks: (i) dedicated moments where they give time to news (usually on evenings
and weekends), (ii) a second off repace (usually within the mornings),
(iii) tume fillers (commuting or in a queue), and (iv) intercepted moments where they receive
alerts from information organisations or messages from mates
with information. The issu for publishers is that this means
tha particular person information brands tend to play a small role iin yonger people’s lives.
